Potted up 4 Sungold Tomatoes, 3 Tropical Sunset Tomatoes, 2 Tomatillos, 3 Cauliflowers, 2 Broccolis, and 1 Dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree. The lemon tree went from a 4.5 gallon to a 15 gallon pot. I used Gary’s Top Pot mix. After this photo, I pinched off the flower buds – I want the tree to focus on establishing roots at this point.
For the rest of the seedlings, they went from the little starter trays to 4″ pots, where I expect they’ll be for at least a couple of weeks. After that, weather permitting, we’ll begin hardening them off and possibly do one more potting up to 1-gallon pots. In any case, hopefully we’ll have them in grow bags or in the ground by late March.
Below is a new wildflower that bloomed this week, and an injured bird that I was able to get close to for the picture. Sadly, he left this mortal coil not long after.
