This morning Ivy dropped some California Wildflower seeds all around the south side of the house by the AC units. That narrow strip of dirt is often shaded, so I’m not sure what will grow there beyond some native weeds. I’ve been dropping pruned tomato leaves and other things for weeks. And yesterday I poured some biochar with compost tea, and mulched with G&B Harvest Supreme, worm castings, and native soil. After Ivy seeded and watered I dropped a bit more worm castings and soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also did some light fertilizing. Bone Meal for the egg plant in the grow bag, a couple spots by the corn on the south side planter, some in-between the west side tomatoes and jalapeno plant, and the tomatillos in the planter. A little bit by the corn on the hill, and the pumpkins there, as well as all the tomatoes and tomatillos in grow bags. Then a little bit by the arch plants, the pumpkins and spaghetti squash. About a tablespoon per plant, though in the in-ground areas, I did not go that close to the stems. I covered it with a mix of mostly worm castings and a small amount of Trifecta.
