Maintenance and Monitoring

The compost pile hit about 113°F this morning.

I gave the potatoes in grow bags a deep soak, along with the south-side wildflower strip. I watered the rest of the garden as needed. I applied a small amount of insecticidal soap to the grow-bag potatoes and an even lighter spray to the beans.

I adjusted the pea supports yesterday now that they’re finally putting on some growth. That may be from the warmer days and nights we’ve had recently. I also think I gave them a very small amount of Jack’s when I fertilized the beans, but the growth uptick seemed to start before that.
