Fertilizing and Transplants

I fed almost everything except the green beans with Jack’s 20-20-20. I wanted to switch from fish fertilizer and give the fruiting plants more P and K. Only the older cherry tomato is producing well right now. One Roma near the roses has a lot of green fruit that won’t ripen, and the tomatoes and tomatillos in grow bags still aren’t doing much.

I transplanted the third bag of lettuce and bok choy, plus two Marglobe tomatoes into grow bags. Three more Marglobes went into the west-side planter. One last larger Marglobe is still in a 1-gallon pot, and I need to find a home for it.

The pumpkin on the arch keeps growing. For a first spring/summer season, things went fine. I started with zero experience and now know a little. I didn’t harvest much, but that’s expected. I sent a soil test to mysoiltesting.com to figure out improvements for next spring.
